Megan Thee Stallion was recently sued by her former cameraman for being “trapped” in a vehicle while she had 𝑠e𝑥 with another woman. 50 Cent, Hip-Hop’s resident commentator, spoke out about the situation, which allegedly happened in Ibiza in 2022, in typical Curtis Jackson fashion.
“This cameraman and the lawyer who made this claim should be punched in the head,” Fif wrote in an Instagram caption accompanying a screenshot of an article describing the lawsuit. “I’m sorry 2 women start making out, I’m not offended. This case is thrown out of my court.”
The G-Unit leader wasn’t the only person making jokes about the situation. “Car rides with Meg like an episode of Fear Factor you never know [what the f**k] about to happen,” one X user wrote, referring to when she had an altercation with Tory Lanez in July 2020 which led to her being shot. “Damn and Meg like 5’11 250 so she had that backseat rocking, that ni**a probably thought the car was on 2 wheels,” another fan wrote.
Now, of course, neither Megan Thee Stallion being shot nor this lawsuit is laughing matters; good luck telling X users that though. Beyond the fact that Emilion Garcia, Meg’s former cameraman, felt uncomfortable being present while she had 𝑠e𝑥, he also claims that she called him a “fat bi**h.”
Garcia’s full lawsuit entails a hostile work environment, failure to prevent and remedy harassment, and various labor code violations. He is suing Roc Nation, Hot Girl Touring, Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Inc., and 10 Does in addition to the “Hiss” rapper.
Garcia worked for the Houston Hottie from July 2018 to June 2023, spending the majority of that tenure as her full-time cameraman. He claims Roc Nation “unexpectedly” terminated him, among the aforementioned accusations. Meg and her legal team responded to the lawsuit, saying, “This is an employment claim for money — with no 𝑠e𝑥ual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”
It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out for Megan Thee Stallion, especially with her first headlining tour looming. The Hot Girl Summer Tour is set to kick off in May with special guest GloRilla. They will hit the big cities such as Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas before heading overseas to perform in Manchester, Amsterdam, Dublin, London, and more.
