A perennially stylish celebrity couple, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky aren’t going to let a little rain ruin their outfits. In fact, as they’ve shown us, the forecast can become part of a look itself.
Rihanna and Rocky spent the day in Venice, Italy, hitting the Celine store and the antique jeweler Attilio Codognato before making their way to Doge’s Palace for a nighttime tour. By the time the two emerged from the Gothic landmark, the rain had begun. Luckily, the two came prepared.
Rihanna shielded herself with a large black umbrella. She wore a navy blue top held together by safety pins with light wash, baggy jeans that covered the heels of her crystal-studded black Alaïa flats.
The singer and entrepreneur accessorized with silver jewelry: a chain on her neck and dangling earrings. And to keep warm in the Italian winter, she wore a floor-length black coat.

Rocky, on the other hand, decided to forgo the umbrella altogether. His preferred method of rain protection came in the form of a sweeping gray hooded cloak, which, given the Gothic setting, seemed sartorially appropriate. Underneath his cape, he wore a sharp brown pinstriped suit, a white button-up left partially undone, and a pair of black leather Oxfords.
