On Friday, 50 Cent responded to a video of rival Sean “Diddy” Combs beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel in 2016.
“ Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing ! This is what his lawyers are gonna say,” the “In Da Club” rapper, 48, wrote on X alongside the video. “God help us all .”
In the clip, Combs could be seen throwing Ventura to the ground before kicking her numerous times and dragging her across the floor.
The altercation occurred near the elevator bays outside the pair’s room at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, a neighborhood in Los Angeles.
The video, obtained originally by CNN, corroborated some of the allegations Ventura, 37, made against Combs, 54, in her November 2023 lawsuit, which cited physical abuse, rape and more.
The video was obtained and released by CNN on Friday.

Shortly after filing the suit, Ventura — whose real name is Casandra — and Diddy reached an undisclosed settlement.
However, Combs and his lawyers have vehemently denied all the abuse claims against him.
On Friday, 50 Cent also reposted Combs’ previous statement in which the latter insisted that he “did not do any of the awful things being alleged.” The former captioned the screenshot, “The lie detector test has determined this was a lie…. Maury vibes.”
Ventura specifically mentioned the 2016 hotel assault in her complaint, claiming the attack started in their hotel room after Combs became “extremely intoxicated.”
While still inside their suite, Combs allegedly “punched Ms. Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye.”
Cassie detailed the assault in her November 2023 lawsuit filed against the music mogul.
She alleged that Diddy was intoxicated and punched her in the face before she tried to leave the hotel.
Once he was asleep, the “Me & U” singer tried to sneak out of the room but he “followed her into the hallway of the hotel while yelling at her,” the suit claimed.
“He grabbed at her and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw them at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran to the elevator to escape.”
Ventura was eventually able to escape and Combs allegedly paid the InterContinental $50,000 for the security footage.
However, he followed her into the hall and beat her for trying to leave.

50 Cent, a longtime critic of Combs, weighed in on the lawsuit soon after it was filed.
“Damn brother love, brother love, brother love, you out here looking CRAZY AS A MF. LMAO,” he captioned a stank-face selfie back in November.
The “I’ll Be Missing You” singer changed his name to “Love,” or “Brother Love,” in 2017, claiming it was a better representation of him.
The two rappers have feuded for years.

After news broke that Diddy and Ventura settled their suit, 50 Cent warned his followers that there would be many more women coming forward with allegations of abuse — which rang true.
“LOL He paid that money real quick, should have done that before the sharks saw the blood in the water and here they come in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 every woman he put his hand on,” he wrote in a since-deleted post.
However, the “Candy Shop” rapper became even more engrossed in the cases after his ex Daphne Joy was named as one of Combs’ 𝑠e𝑥 workers in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ $30 million lawsuit.
“Here they come in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 every woman he put his hand on,” he wrote on Instagram in November.WireImage for Live Nation
In a shocking turn of events, his ex Daphne Joy was later accused of being one of Diddy’s 𝑠e𝑥 workers — which she denied.
