50 Cent has addressed his issues with Beyoncé in the past: Interview statement and other details explained
50 Cent once appeared for an interview on The Breakfast Club in August 2022, saying that Beyoncé once tried to confront him in Las Vegas, believing that he was trying to start a fight with her former partner Jay-Z.
Curtis added that he was surprised to see her reaction and added:
“She jumped off the ledge. I was like, ‘Oh, sh*t!’ I didn’t really know what to do. It was one of those situations where you were like, ‘Woah!’ If you say this to Jay, he’ll look at you and go, ‘Nah, that happened.’”
Notably, Curtis and Jay-Z’s beef has also been on top of the headlines since 1999, and have released several diss tracks, targeting each other. There have been a few moments where their problems were almost solved but things took a worse turn whenever either one of them shared a negative comment about each other.
In another instance, 50 Cent told XXL Magazine in 2017 that Jay-Z’s marriage to Beyoncé was one of the reasons why he was so successful. He said that he was fine if he did not receive any awards for his work and addressed Jay-Z’s career by saying that he has won “16, 17 Grammys” for being associated with Beyoncé. Curtis also mentioned:
“You see [Jay and Beyonce’s] kids already have Grammys. They don’t sing yet. They don’t sing. They don’t rap yet. And, they already have Grammys and sh*t. So, they say, ‘Give them this trophy so we can secure that they’re coming – to the awards show.”
Curtis additionally stated that the awards are not his priority and that his experience is “a little bit abrasive to conservatives.” He continued by saying that he doesn’t have enough experience if compared to Jay-Z and called the latter a “quiet person.”
Meanwhile, Beyoncé did not share any statement in response to everything said by 50 Cent. The latter has also preferred to remain silent in terms of his feud with Jay-Z for a long time.
