One of the greatest basketball players of all time, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is also an elite golfer.

It was recently announced that Curry is set to receive the 2023 Ambassador of Golf Award from the PGA.

Per a representative from the UNDERRATED Golf Tour, the Ambassador of Golf Award from the PGA is given annually to the individual who has “fostered the ideals of the game on an international level and whose concerns for others extends beyond the golf course.”

In the same announcement, the following was detailed about Curry’s UNDERRATED Golf Tour:

“[Steph] Curry founded the UNDERRATED Golf Tour to provide equity, access, and opportunity to deserving student-athletes from underserved communities who may not otherwise be exposed to the full benefits of the sport. The mission is to increase the participation of competitive golfers from diverse backgrounds, and to engage corporate partners for mentoring, networking and visibility. The UNDERRATED Tour plans to expand throughout the U.S. and globally, further diversifying the pool of junior, collegiate and professional players around the world.”

Because of what he is doing with his UNDERRATED Golf Tour, Curry is a deserving recipient of the 2023 Ambassador of Golf Award that will be presented to him on July 8th at Firestone. Always special on the court, Curry is doing great things off the court as well.
